About

De Seks & Media prijs (Sex & Media prize) is a Dutch initiative that aims to reward solid, research-based media expressions of sex and sexuality. The press, artists and makers of radio, TV and Internet productions can be nominated for the prize.

Challenge

How can we offer a stage to those who break taboos about sexuality and show the Netherlands and beyond that there is more to explore then the Sex Museum in Amsterdam? There are some great projects out there, but we need to stimulate the media to create more projects around sex..

Brand behavior 

The first step was changing the name from Nederlandse prijs voor seks en media to Seks en Media prijs, so people would recognize it as THE Sex and Media prize in the Netherlands.

 
 

Brand it forward also took part in the jury in 2016.
Brand it forward was nominated for the Sex and Media prize in 2015 with The Big Sex Book.

The brand identity and campaign were all about making the invisible visible, and the unspeakable open for conversation.
